		<description>I don&#039;t believe that there&#039;s any physical adaptation to cold that you would develop by showering in cold water.  You may (psychologically) get used to it, but that&#039;s all.  More importantly, cold temperatures don&#039;t cause colds - viruses do.   All in all, I think you can scrub the cold shower (pun intended).</description>

		<description>Like most of the ideas but where did the cold shower one come from? It&#039;s a big shock to the cardiovascular system, and for some people ti can be unpleasant.
